Description

The Enabling Works package to both listed buildings includes taking over the vacant site, partial stripping out the buildings to facilitate these enabling works, re-roofing, refurbishment and or replacement of windows and doors which are to be retained following the alteration works, re pointing of the external stone and repairing and renovating the stucco rendering together with the renewal and replacement of rainwater goods, downpipes and flashings, fascia's etc.

It does not include the new build phase, however during the period of this Contract the ensuing Contract will be tendered and it is expected that some of this work will be carried out simultaneously with this enabling Contract.

Town Deal Funding has been received to support the project which forms an integral part of the wider programme. Anticipated construction costs of this initial phase have been identified in the region of £1.5m.
