Description

This tender is for the appointment of a Contractor to undertake roof replacement works at the Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro. The works have been designed by professional consultants through RIBA stages 1 to 4. This tender is for the construction phase, RIBA stage 5.

Please note the £750,000.00 is a minimum figure only, tendering contractors are required submit a priced tender return based on their judgement of the value of the works.

A principle outline of the scope of works are as follows:

- Replacement of the pitched slate roof coverings
- Replacement of the flat roof coverings
- Thermal improvement works
- Installation of rainwater goods
- External render repair
- Installation of new external staircase
- Replacement of louvered doors

All tendering contractors will be expected to visit site to familiarise themselves with the scheme prior to providing a tender price.

During the tender process, tender visits to Royal Cornwall Museum will be on an appointment only basis.
