Description

Wokingham Borough Council is inviting tenders for the provision of an Active Travel Officer. The role will build on the success of the My Journey Wokingham project; a £4.1m programme funded through the Department for Transport's (DfT) Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) between 2012 and 2016.
The appointed person will:
• Deliver initiatives, events and activities to promote sustainable travel across Wokingham borough within new and existing residential areas, community groups and workplaces.
• Monitor the success of different initiatives delivered to help shape future programme.
• Deliver initiatives that are inclusive for all Wokingham residents.
