Description
This procurement opportunity relates to provision of Pharmacy Services and has arisen through consultation and discussion between three organisations, local to North East Lincolnshire, who have come together to form a buying Consortium/Partnership.
Navigo Health and Social Care CIC (lead commissioner) (https://navigocare.co.uk/) delivers a whole mental health service within the boundaries of N E Lincolnshire; HMT St Hugh's (https://hmtsthughs.org/) is a private hospital and registered charity offering services to insured, NHS and self-funding patients and St Andrew's Hospice (https://www.standrewshospice.com/) provides care for both children and adults with life-limiting illnesses, mainly locally, but also from further afield in the case of children.
As a Partnership we wish to procure Pharmacy Services across the three organisations which will include: -
• Procurement and storage of pharmaceutical products
• Dispensing of medication (including controlled medication) both for named patients and as stock.
• Dispensing of TTO and discharge medications.
• Supply of non-stock items
• Delivery of medication in suitably temperature-controlled vehicles to all in-patients' units and wards
• Bulk delivery of medication to main sites or agreed community locations (all within the N E Lincolnshire geographical area)
• Provision of depot medication for those community teams who administer them.
