Description

Bradley Stoke Town Council is the parish authority for Bradley Stoke. It is the second tier of local government after the South Gloucestershire Council. Its legal powers are granted to it and regulated by various government acts. The town population is of approximately 20,000. The Town Council supplements the provision of local government services in Bradley Stoke, and provides a range of social and recreational facilities, while promoting and representing the town with other national and statutory bodies.

The town council are looking to construct a storage building at the rear of one of its existing buildings. Limited building plans have been included within this opportunity and a copy of the scoring matrix that councillors will use to decide on whom to award the contract. The successful tender will receive all plans from both the architect and structural engineer.

Within the tender pack sent in the post the town council will require the following;
• A copy of the insurance certificate showing a minimum of £10,000,000 in public liability. Please note that if your company does not hold at least £10,000,000 in public liability we will not be able to proceed with your tender offer.
• A copy of your company history and qualifications.
• A copy of the proposed contract with an initial start date and project duration.
• Councillors have requested that any contract issued should have financial penalty clauses for delays beyond the councils control paid by the successful tender pack.
• A copy of the management and operation plan, to include how many staff would be on site for the duration of the build.
• A copy of your risk assessment for the duration of the works.
• A copy of your companies work guarantee.
• A copy of the proposed costs in an open and transparent manner.

All quotes should be submitted as fixed price for the total contract. Full tender pack is available to all who show interest.
