Description

We are looking to commission an experienced consultancy (covering both technical and commercial advice) who can assess the feasibility and viability of district heating in the Brixton Town Centre and provide guidance to the Council on their role within the project. Consortia bids are welcomed, though the lead contractor should be clearly identified.

The aims of the project are to:

• review and update previous energy master planning and initial techno-economic work where necessary to ensure it is robust and complies with the CIBSE Heat Networks Code of Practice for this stage of project development (http://www.cibse.org/knowledge/cibse-other-publications/cp1-heat-networks-code-of-practice-for-the-uk ) providing a revised Energy Map and Masterplan where necessary
• complete a feasibility study and techno-economic model to determine the recommended scheme encompassing study work already carried out and any recommended future phases
• undertake financial modelling and social NPV modelling
• undertake business model options evaluation
