Description

The owner of 104-116 Church Street, Stoke wishes to appoint a contractor to undertake historic restoration work to the building. The work will include historic replacement of the 7 shop fronts and surrounds, structural work to the upper floors (to include repairs to steelwork and re-building of parapet), roof repairs (flat roof), replacement of windows on the upper floors, repair/replacement of rainwater goods and external decoration. Planning permission for the shop fronts is being submitted. Work will be part funded by the Stoke Partnership Scheme in Conservation Areas (Historic England/Stoke-on-Trent City Council). In reference to the asbestos report the property owner has confirmed that all the asbestos has been addressed apart from the ceiling in shop 110/112.
