Description

The SSRO is seeking to award a 3 year contract for the provision of web-based access to legal resources, covering as a minimum:

1. Up to date legislation and statutory instruments and linked case law references and commentary;
2. Comprehensive databases of UK and EU case law;
3. Encyclopaedias, commentary, journals and practice guides in the following areas:
(a) Procurement and contracts;
(b) Administrative and public law;
(c) Civil procedure, including Judicial Review;
(d) Access to information, particularly: freedom of information, data
protection, GDPR and official secrets;
(e) Employment law; and
4. Comprehensive precedent documents.

The SSRO is also seeking pricing for the following additional services (or equivalents), which it may purchase at its sole discretion -

5. Law of Public and Utilities Procurement, volume 1 (3rd Edition),
Arrowsmith;
6. Chitty on Contracts, volume 1 (33rd Edition), Beale; and/or
7. Public Procurement Law Review.

The Service should meet the following requirements:
• Resources must be updated promptly to reflect developments in
the law;
• Resources must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365
a year, subject to a minimum level of disruption which the bidder
should specify in the tender.
• Resources must be available for two concurrent users.
