Description

Bidders are asked to submit a formal tender for the "Terracotta Warrior Exhibition Strip-Out works Tender".

National Museums Liverpool (NML) is seeking a building contractor to carry out works to return the Lower Horseshoe gallery back to it's original condition pre-Terracotta Warrior exhibition. As mentioned above the works will predominantly consist of dismantling of large wall structures etc, strip-out/removal of electrical power/data infrastructure behind the exhibition walls, and decoration works. The Building contractor will be responsible for coordination of all site activities, and liaising with other nominated sub-contractor trades, to ensure the programme of works are met, inline with the programme timescales. The contractor must be able to coordinate and work with NML maintenance and nominated sub-contractors who will be responsible for elements of the work such as the removal of the electrical, fire alarm detection, data and mechanical infrastructure which facilitated the requirements of the exhibition.

NML is looking for a contractor who has the ability to run a large site with multiple contractor trades, and can deliver programme of works within a tight timescale and return gallery back to its original condition, to a high standard.
