Description
The final date and time for the submission of bids is Monday 11th May 2020 at 14:00 DO NOT apply directly to the buyer. All tender information MUST be submitted through the Delta eSourcing Portal.
The proposed service would provide a platform for co-ordinating all international travel and field work risk management across UKRI Research Councils. The service would need to provide comprehensive, single point of contact, pre-travel medical and security advice, training and security. Medical support whilst "in country" is required and this would also include the management of international incidents and emergencies affecting UKRI employees.
The service is required to enhance the existing risk management processes across in UKRI for overseas fieldwork and travel and provide a more robust emergency incident response process.
The service would need the capability to link together and work with existing travel booking contracts, and contracts of overseas travel insurance held by UKRI.
The aim is to provide a one stop service for the risk management of overseas field work and provide a single point of contact solution for travellers and managers.
1.To improve international travel and field work safety with increased access to pre-travel risk assessment, planning tools and information
2.Improve the provision of training for employees working overseas in relation to health, security and cultural issues
3.Provide the ability to keep employees informed of any emerging or changing medical and security risks while overseas and providing options for assistance.
4.Provide UKRI with the ability to communicate with and manage travellers in terms of location tracking and communications
UK SBS is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as may be amended from time to time) (the "Regulations"). The estimated value of this opportunity is £270,000.00 Ex VAT. Please ensure you review all attached information to ensure a full understanding of this requirement.
