Description
Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office. BF operate a fleet of five (5) Cutters. One of these Cutters, HMC Seeker, has a requirement for some Maintenance and recertification of safety equipment.
The full package of works required is detailed in the attached Statement of requirements.
This contract will commence on 31st May 2019 with successful acceptance of HMC Seeker by the supplier and the work package is required to be undertaken between 03 - 14 June 2019 in line with the Cutters Operational working pattern between Portland and the Firth of Forth, Scotland. Following this sourcing exercise based on written quotation.
Bidders are required to submit quotations.
The purpose of this notice is to make the Statement of Requirements available and to invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised written quotation for the work package. Those potential suppliers are invited to send an email to Ian McDermott, Home office Commercial: Ian.Mcdermott@homeoffice.gov.uk, confirming their interest in this opportunity, providing the itemised quotation, confirmation of yard availability on the stated dates. Furthermore, confirmation of agreement to the Home Office Standard Short Form Services Terms and Conditions on which the contract will be awarded is required (also attached for reference). Quotations should also be accompanied by a CDP as stated in the SoR section 5.4. Emails containing all required documentation should be submitted by 23:59hrs on Monday 27th May, 2019.
