Description

Bidders are asked to submit a formal tender for the "Wondrous Place Gallery, Museum of Liverpool, Stage and Screen AV Tender".

We require bidders to submit a tender for the following:

AV Presentation for Stage and Screen: The City on Film (See Appendix F)

- An exciting and innovative AV presentation reflecting Liverpool as a key filming destination for movie and TV making.
- Be a fun experience showcasing footage from selected movies, TV shows and their filming locations.
- To provide ideas and execution of ways to make the presentation a wow moment in the exhibition. e.g. projection mapping/ animation/ interactive displays/ soundscapes etc.
- Showcase the diverse and sometimes surprising filming locations across the Liverpool City Region.
- Reflect the role of Liverpool Film Office in the success and ambition of the city's film industry.
- As part of the content delivery, the AV Software Content provider/ bidder will be required to source additional imagery and footage for the AV production, and purchase copyright/usage licenses.
- NML requires all copyright license clearance to be at least ten years or a lifetime, nothing less.
- NML will require copies of the project files and media, so the AV presentation can be updated if and when necessary.

Please note the hardware will be provided by NML's chosen hardware suppliers. This will go out to tender once the Software contractor has been appointed.

The software content provider will need to work and collaborate with the internal content team to create and deliver the production of the AV software content for the gallery. Once all AV software content has reached the final stage of sign-off by the client, the AV Software content provider will be responsible to deliver all AV content to the AV Hardware contractor.

The deadline to commission, test and install all digital elements on gallery is on w/c 11 October 2021. The AV Software content provider will need to deliver all final version/signed off AV content to the AV Hardware provider by September 10 at the latest time to install the AV software content onto gallery.

The brief will provide details of objectives, key messages, storyline/content, look & feel, target audience and dwell time (Please refer to Appendix F).

Installation is due to commence on w/c 27 September 2021 and be completed within two weeks.

Wondrous Place is a permanent gallery within the Museum of Liverpool. The gallery is undergoing a major refurbishment to enhance the visitor experience through engaging and immersive content.

The gallery is an eclectic mix of Liverpool's rich history and modern contribution to the worlds of Sport, Music, Performance and the Arts. With an over-arching theme of 'creative expression', the gallery explores varied subjects such as football and music and examines the passion they generate within the hearts and souls of the people of Merseyside.
