National Museums Liverpool are looking to commission an external provider to deliver a high quality and efficient waste removal service. This includes both municipal and recyclable waste collections from all of our public and non-public venues. We require an efficient, inclusive service so that we A) meet the needs required of our business, B) ensure a first class service for our visitors and C) up keep to health and safety standards.
We are seeking to set up a contract for waste collection and removal for the following sites; Merseyside Maritime Museum, Museum of Liverpool, World Museum, Walker Art Gallery, Sudley House Art Gallery, Lady Lever Art Gallery, Dale Street Office Suite, Midland Railway Building and Juniper Street.
Bidders are asked to submit a formal tender for the Waste Removal Service for the next 3 years.
Bidders are asked to submit a formal tender for a Waste Removal Services contract. We require to supply and maintain a full range of municipal and recyclable waste bins as required by each of the above venues. We require multiple weekly visits to all named sites to collect, remove and dispose of waste. We also require the inclusion of an on-demand service whereby we can request additional bin collections at peak times.
A key deliverable is that National Museums Liverpool are provided with a transparent service throughout the duration of the contract. We require access to clear, accurate and real time information which records and details the services provided. We require up to date details of how much of our waste is recycled and how our waste has been recycled. This information is to be provided with weekly reports and a maintained record system so that information of any visits, collections made etc. can be easily accessed and reported on.
Regular communication is key and we would expect the successful contractor to be in regular contact in the form of bi-monthly meetings.
