Description

The Barring Operations Directorate in Darlington holds an existing ISO 9001 2008 certification for the whole of Operations Barring including the decision making of cases. This is due to be re-certified in July 2017.

The Production section of the Disclosure Operations Directorate in Liverpool holds ISO 9001 2008 certification for functional checking processes which exist to compile accurate information for release to employers within set timescales. This expires on 14th September 2018.

The existing ISO 9001 2008 standards will need to be maintained, with support being provided to assist with the transition to the new ISO 9001-2015 standard as required. The new certification will need to be provided as well as regular surveillance to ensure DBS Quality Management Systems (QMS) is meeting the ISO 9001 2015 standard on an on-going basis.
