Description

Expressions of interest are invited from appropriately experienced and capable providers to commence an engagement with NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to assist the CCG to develop its commissioning intentions for the future provision of mental health services for children and young people. Current commissioning assumptions are that the service is likely to involve a contract for 3 to 5 years with a value circa £950,000 per year (up to £4,750,000 over potential 5 years), commencing from July 2021.

Engagement with interested providers will assist to inform the CCG as to the level of interest, what types of providers might be appropriate to become involved in delivering a future solution and what collaborative solutions might be possible to provide the very best care and support to this often vulnerable cohort of children and young people. The engagement will seek to explore and understand potential service delivery and commercial models, whilst seeking to facilitate provider collaborative solutions. The CCG is keen to hear from all types of providers, including voluntary and community organisations (VCOs).

Importantly, the CCG is planning to host an on-line market engagement / provider workshop on 13th October 2020 (10am - 1pm) and confirmation is invited from providers wishing to participate.

The current scope of services is delivered through a model which provides short term interventions for 5 to 25 year olds with mild to moderate needs through various approaches including triage, advice, signposting, 121 sessions, online resources and groups. Services include anxiety, bereavement, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Low Mood, Resiliency, using CBT and IPTA approaches.

Further information of the CCG's requirements and intentions for this service, and a copy of the Market Engagement Questionnaire (MEQ) for your completion are attached.
