Description

Five CCGs in South West London (Kingston, Richmond, Merton, Sutton, & Wandsworth) have chosen to work collaboratively to maximise health outcomes for local patients. Kingston and Richmond CCGs are sharing single LDU led by a joint Managing Director.

Non-emergency patient transport (NEPT) is a service for patients who are considered medically unfit to be transported by conventional means (i.e. own car, bus, walk, etc.) and require transport to or from their usual place of residence to a Trust facility, other hospitals, health centres, nursing homes and any other location deemed appropriate.

The current arrangements across Richmond and Kingston CCGs are for patients to be assessed as eligible and provided with community NEPT.

NHS Richmond & Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group (the Commissioner) is still finalising its decision as to how best to establish the above Service and is undertaking market engagement to seek the views and opinions of those organisations that may be interested in delivering the Service if it decides to procure the service.

Please respond with your completed Market Engagement Questionnaire by no later than 11 January 2019, details can be found within the attached documents.
