Description
GMLEP is seeking to procure provision which will ensure unemployed adults aged 19+ (or 18+ if in receipt of benefits) who face multiple barriers to entering the labour market are given the right level of skills, employability and wrap around support that they need to make measurable progress towards improving their chances of gaining sustainable employment.

Through the SFA 's e-tendering portal , the ITT has been issued to all candidates who have completed The Register of Training Organisations refresh as at July 2015, and indicated they were interested in delivering any of the following provision types in the Greater Manchester LEP area :

19-23 Apprenticeships
24 Plus Apprenticeships
Traineeships
Skills for Life
Pre-employment training
Community Learning
ESOL
Education and vocational skills training for employers
Skills support for the employed
Skills support for the unemployed
Even though the above selection criteria was utilised for the invitation, in order to be awarded a contract for this item the winning candidate from those invited must have submitted a SUCCESSFUL response to the Register of Training Organisations refresh in July 2015 AND must be a legal entity at the time of intention to award a contract.
