Description

The Cook4life programme as part of the Department of Health 'Change 4 Life' programme aims to promote healthy eating on a budget, budgeting and healthy breakfast and lunch sessions by engaging with schools, community settings, and Children's Centres. This will be achieved by delivering cookery courses as both demonstrations and lessons to and with parents and carers.
The Provider shall:
Deliver healthy living objectives, food preparation and budgeting in the current financial climate through cookery demonstrations
Specifically teach participants to cook a healthy dish in a hands on way, where applicable.
Signpost parents to "graduate" activities i.e. referral to walking groups.
Signpost parents to healthy lifestyle programmes
