Description

As a public body NML has a duty in making society fairer by tackling discrimination and providing equality of opportunity for all. Our vision is to 'be the world's leading example of an inclusive museum service.'

NML's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy underpin our commitment to promote diversity and human rights, and to meet the needs and surpass the expectations of all our visitors. Our goal is for our workforce and visitors to be truly representative of all sections of society, and for each employee to feel respected and valued.

Bidders are asked to submit a formal tender for the "Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Awareness training"

NML is a group of 8 museums and galleries and 5 non-public sites located across Merseyside with 710 staff and 200 volunteers.
We are a complex organisation which has gone through a period of challenge and is coming into a time of transformational change.

We would like to see a bespoke training module developed that would inform and explore the nine protected characteristics outlined in the Equality Act 2010 within the context of NML.
