Description

MAIN STAIRCASE FROM RUCKOLT ROAD
To the existing cladding glazing (translucent sheeting) to the first and second floor landings, carry out the following works:
a) Prepare for and apply intumescent paint to the exposed sides of the vertical timber posts to give 30 minutes fire protection (nominal)
b) Frame out and overclad the translucent sheeting with two layers of 12mm Gyproc Fireline board on metal stud framework complete, and finished tight to heads, reveals and cills. Skim coat gypsum plaster finish. All to provide min 30 minute fire protection to the stairwell.
c) Mist coat new plaster and apply one full coat of vinyl silk emulsion colour white
Fully wash down and prepare all ceilings and walls to the stairwell (all floor levels) and apply one top coat of vinyl silk emulsion paint colour white complete. Including top coat to new plaster areas.
Remove the existing ceiling lights from the stairwell (all floor levels). Supply and install new LED light units type Envirolux Pelaw in existing positioned and lamped to give good lighting levels throughout. Including maintained lighting where existing. Link to existing electrics and test. Provide NICEIC Certification upon completion

CAVITY BARRIER INSTALLATION
To the front and rear elevations, replace the 4.no Everlite Danpalon vertical cladding sheets damaged during previous cladding investigations. Work to be carried out by the original installers: To be provided.
Work to be as per their quotation of 3rd January 2018 and in strict accordance with the recommendations of Everlite.
Note: Include for all Main Contractor attendances, access provision, storage etc necessary for the works including all power, disposals, welfare etc required by SR Cladding.

CAVITY BARRIER INSTALLATION
Carefully remove the existing cladding panels from the front and rear
Elevations as necessary and to the extent for facilitating the
installation of cavity barriers as below. Include for all work
consequent and refit panels in place on completion.
Work to be carried out by the original installers: To be provided.
Work to be as per their quotation of 11th January 2018 and in strict accordance with the recommendations of Everlite.

Install cavity barriers to the arrangement shown on drawings SK1 (front elevation) and SK2 (rear elevation). The barriers to be installed when the cladding is temporarily lifted to facilitate as above. Barriers are to be as follows:
a) Horizontal at second floor level - between the second floor structure and rear face of cladding
b) Vertical to the Party Wall line between first/second/third floor flats as shown.
Note the exact cavity width for the barrier installation will be determined when the cladding is removed.
Installation of Tenmat Ventilated Fire Barrier type FF102/50
Tenmat including all work consequent, fixings and brackets etc complete to provide the fire barriers.
