Description

The replacement of rainwater goods and associated minor building works to two Grade II Listed Chapels at our Fairmile Cemetery to stop water ingress and allow the building to dry out ahead of installation works to be undertaken later this year.
The enabling works scope includes:
• Replacement of rotted eaves boards.
• Repainting of eaves boards to entire perimeter.
• Short run of below-ground drainage to connect one new downpipe location to existing drain for each chapel.
• Coordinate the installation of rainwater goods by Yeoman Rainguard. Note; the Quotation provided gives two options - please quote for the 'Rise and Fall Brackets' option.
• Making good to masonry and timber eaves profiles following removal of old rainwater goods and after installation new ones (i.e. lime mortar around fixings etc)
• Repair of exposed roofing battens and roofing membrane at the eaves where there are localised damp issues that have caused damage. (Site visit to inspect is required).

Note that some of the drawings provided depict the Anglican chapel only, however we ask that your quotation includes the same scope of work for both chapels concurrently. The Non Conformist Chapel has the same footspace as the Anglican Chapel with the exclusion of the bell tower.
