Description

The University of London is proud to offer an opportunity for an experienced and suitably qualified Supplier to produce printed Study Guides for the University. The Contract will be awarded by a competitive tender, for a three year term, with the possibility to extend by a further two years.

The University of London requires Study Guides to be produced to aid international students studying across the world, including printed Study Guides and CD-ROMs, which supports the e-learning experience. Due to the large international market, University of London Worldwide will drive the majority of demand within the University. Established in 1858, the University of London Worldwide now has more than 48,000 students in 180 countries worldwide, studying 100+ degrees, diplomas and certificates in subjects ranging from Economics and Law to Information Security and Veterinary Science.

The University's current Study Guides print service is provided by two suppliers, one with production based in the UK and one that prints in Singapore. This solution has provided a value for money service to the University as printed materials due for delivery in Asia cost less to produce and ship, as approximately 48% of our students are studying in Asia. As suppliers will endeavour to provide their most competitive pricing when tendering, bidders must consider the option of delivering the services in collaboration with a supply partner (or subsidiary company/division) based in Singapore or Asia. This will reduce production costs considerably and allow suppliers to submit their best pricing in this tender.
