Description

Following a successful grant application, Horley Town Council seeks tenders to replace the damaged paving surrounding the Innes Pavilion, Thornton Close Horley RH6 8RJ. Quotations are being sought for the supply and installation of replacement surfacing as follows:

Quotation for labour, plant and materials to carry out the replacement of the damaged paving at the above location. The quotation should include the break up and removal of existing paving slabs and to supply and lay 150mm depth MOT type 1 sub-base for a total area of approx 350 sq m. Provision should be made to include an ACO or similar type drainage channel to collect rainwater. Ramps to the football changing rooms should also be included in the quotation.
The council has set a guideline estimate of £40,000 ex vat for the complete project.

This project is advertised as an open tender on Contracts Finder. It is anticipated that installation will be carried out no later than 31 March 2025. The exact timescale will be agreed between the Council and the preferred contractor following the award of the contract.

The council requests the following documentation to accompany the bid:

• Risk assessments
• Public liability insurance
• Company health and safety policy
• Fixed-price quotation for the removal of existing slabs and provision of replacement surfacing.
