Description

This Nature Net Zero Technical contract is to gain greater understanding of the net zero contribution/ carbon that is likely to be stored through different Nature Recovery approaches. It aims to set out the potential of England's ecosystems to deliver the greatest increase in biodiversity while retaining carbon storage and increasing carbon sequestration rates. Assess the impacts of climate change on the mitigation value and adaptation potential in high carbon habitats. Outline what locations would return the best investment to achieve long term functional recovery of these ecosystems and consequently the most effective in delivering these outcomes?
