Description

FCDO are seeking to appoint an organisation to lead the delivery of the Girls in Rwanda Learn (GIRL) programme. The programme will support professional development of 50% of P1-3 teachers in low performing primary schools in English and Maths, manage an Innovation Fund to award grants to interventions that support out-of-school girls in the six poorest performing districts and provide strategic technical assistance and advocacy. The programme will deliver the following outputs:
- reach disadvantaged in-school girls and boys in P1-3;
- reach the most marginalised out-of-school girls and boys targeting the poorest districts with high levels of drop out with a multifaceted package of support.
- support successful programme implementation, government capacity building and policy reform through advocacy and Technical Assistance.
