Description

A facility within the Faculty of Science Agriculture and Engineering at Newcastle University is currently being constructed. A pig feed monitoring system has already been procured for this new facility, for the individual monitoring of feed intake and liveweight of group housed pigs, but as part of a Research Facility improvement plan, the University is now looking to procure further additional feeding stations for the system.
This tendering exercise was for the supply, installation and maintenance of the equipment. The equipment had to be fully compatible with the existing system. The equipment had to be fully installed on the University's farm at Cockle Park, Morpeth.
