Description
A facility within the Faculty of Science Agriculture and Engineering at Newcastle University is currently being constructed. A pig feed monitoring system has already been procured for this new facility, for the individual monitoring of feed intake and liveweight of group housed pigs, but as part of a Research Facility improvement plan, the University is now looking to procure further additional feeding stations for the system.
This tendering exercise is for the supply, installation and maintenance of the equipment. The equipment must be fully compatible with the existing system.
The equipment must be fully installed on the University's farm at Cockle Park, Morpeth. It is envisaged that this will be towards the end of June 2017. The exact date will be dependent on the construction programme for this new facility and will be confirmed with the chosen Supplier.
Full details can be found in the published tender documentation.
