Description
This open tender opportunity requires the construction of a new extension to, and the completion of refurbishment of, the existing Threemilestone Community Centre, which is located at Pengelly Way, Truro, Cornwall TR3 6DP. Planning permission is expected to be granted w/c 21/12/20, with an anticipated Contractor start on site date of March 1st, 2021, or earlier if possible.
The principal requirements are for a new entrance extension over 2 floors providing in the region of 220sqm of new floor area. . The upper level will provide plant room and storage space. The entrance level will create a light and bright double height entrance foyer to the community centre that will double as a waiting area and welcome point. The new entrance foyer will have a glazed external canopy which will also serve an externally accessible WC for use when the centre is closed. A community noticeboard and digital display board, suitable for advertisements will be cited within the foyer.
