Description

This open tender opportunity requires the construction of a new extension to, and the completion of refurbishment of, the existing Threemilestone Community Centre, which is located at Pengelly Way, Truro, Cornwall TR3 6DP. Planning permission was granted 06/01/21, with an anticipated Contractor start on site date of April 1st, 2021, or earlier if possible.
The principal requirements are for a new entrance extension over 2 floors providing in the region of 220sqm of new floor area. . The upper level will provide plant room and storage space. The entrance level will create a light and bright double height entrance foyer to the community centre that will double as a waiting area and welcome point. The new entrance foyer will have a glazed external canopy which will also serve an externally accessible WC for use when the centre is closed. A community noticeboard and digital display board, suitable for advertisements will be cited within the foyer.
