Description
An 'Historic Parkland Handbook', developed in-house, underpins our parkland work and advice - though remains in draft. It was based on the Natural England commissioned Defra-funded project undertaken by Cookson & Tickner 2013. Associated with this handbook is the 'Historic Parkland Prioritisation Assessment' and a template brief for commissioning Parkland Management Plans. These all require revision to reflect changing priorities, e.g. climate change, tree disease, etc.
The four outputs of the project are aimed at Natural England Advisers.
