Description
This requirement is in respect of a Service Charge enquiry and is in two parts. Firstly, Daventry District Council are seeking an experienced Management Chartered Surveyor to reconcile two outstanding service charges in respect of commercial premises in Daventry.
For the second part, advice is required to advise the Council and ensure that it confirms fully to the Mandatory Guidance imposed by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) which were implemented in spring 2019. Specifically, this is to ensure that the records and reporting measures for commercial service charges for these properties are fit for purpose and within RICS guidelines. This will involve producing sample spreadsheets for the respective Heads of Claim and liaising with Property Officer and Finance Officer on best practice. Suppliers must be aware that this if the instruction passes the reconciliation date as prescribed by the leases then the instruction will extend completing the reconciliation for the current year.
The appointed Chartered Surveyors will be required to demonstrate relevant qualifications and experience specifically in Service Charge management.
