Description
Derby City Council wishes to undertake a consultation exercise with interested stakeholders and suitably qualified experienced organisations in advance of a formal tendering process to provide an Integrated Sexual Health Service.
An Integrated Sexual Health Service provides individuals with open access to confidential, non-judgemental services including Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and Blood Borne Viruses (BBV) testing, treatment and management; the full range of contraceptive provision; health promotion and prevention.
To support the development of this service, we would like to gain information from the market regarding how the procurement process and specifications can be tailored to meet the expectations of the market.
Derby City Council wishes to appoint one lead Provider to provide and deliver this service.
This consultation is not an invitation to tender. The Council, as the contracting authority, is issuing this request for information and feedback only, in order to assess the reaction of the market, secure feedback to improve the service, so that our potential procurement process is more focussed and efficient.
