Description
We are seeking tenders for the supply and planting of high-quality floral displays in retail areas within the Batchworth Community Council retail areas.
Batchworth Community Council is seeking to boost the look and feel of local high streets. The initiative will help to green our high streets and build a welcoming environment for the safe return of shoppers and visitors after the COVID restrictions. The council is approaching the market with a view to commission the supply, planting and 12 month watering of troughs, hanging baskets and planters in high street retail areas within the council boundary.
The tender covers the provision and upgrade of 1m2 planters, 1.5m2 bench planters, hanging baskets (from lamp posts and attached to walls) and elevated road barrier troughs. Also the planting of bulbs, herbaceous plants and grass in a 25m2 prepared area of land
They will be located in the following retail areas
• Rickmansworth High Street (including the approaches)
• Moor Park Main Avenue retail area.

(1) Rickmansworth High Street including approaches
• Supply and installation of up to thirty 1.2m long elevated barrier troughs
• Provision of up to thirty-three 45cm diameter half hanging baskets
• Supply and installation of six 1m2 planters plus two 1.5m2 bench planters.
• Refurbishment of nine existing planters located in the High Street,
• Supply, plant and 12months watering of grass, shrubs and herbaceous plants to 15m2 area of land (Northway Triangle)
(2) Moor Park Main Avenue Retail area
• Supply and installation of two 1m2 planters.
(3) Money Hill Parade
• Supply and installation of up to twelve 1.2m long elevated barrier troughs
• Provision of up to ten 45cm diameter half hanging baskets,
• Supply and installation of six 1m2 planters.
