Description

The PEDALL Happy, Healthy, Active project, is a health and wellbeing project for disabled young people to enjoy the health benefits of cycling in the New Forest National Park. The project is run by the New Forest National Park Authority (NFNPA) and enables young people with learning, physical and sensory disabilities to improve their confidence, physical health and mental wellbeing.

The NFNPA are looking for a suitable contractor who will work with us for the next three years to help us monitor and evaluate the project, specifically to:

- Develop a monitoring data capture plan for the project which the project team can implement to gather the data.
- Develop evaluation tools for project staff to provide to beneficiaries and their families before, during and after the programme. This should be partly based upon the Warwick Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale.
- Produce an interim project evaluation half way through the project in 2018/19
- Produce an end of project evaluation report at the end of the project in early 2020.
- As part of the end of project evaluation report, include a social return on investment analysis (SROI) which assesses the financial benefit of the project to schools, local health and social services.
- Organising and running two focus groups/ interviews with beneficiaries for collection of qualitative evidence. The first would provide formative evidence and the second towards the end of the project would help support summative evidence. This would be carried out at the interim report stage and the end of project stage.
- Develop a method to measure the impact on all project participants, including parents, carers and volunteers.
