Description

*NHS Wandsworth CCG are holding a Market Engagement Event on the 19th December 2016 at 14:00-16:00hrs (Rooms 1 & 2, 73 Upper Richmond Rd, London, SW15 2SR) please confirm your attendance by contacting Lola Triumph (Lola.Triumph@wandsworthccg.nhs.uk).

Please review the attached document 'Wandsworth CCG Personal Health Budget Market Engagement Event' which will outline the purpose of this event and what further information will be provided by the CCG.*

NHS Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting appropriately qualified and experienced providers to express their interest to be appointed to a new framework of suppliers January 2017 for a duration of 4 years.

Personal Health Budget (PHB) Support Service organisations will offer a range of Support Services such as :

• Lot 1 - Support planning
• Lot 2 - Payment service ( including Third Party /Managed Account)
• Lot 3 - Employer advice and guidance

PHB Support Service organisations will support Adults and Children who have been approved to receive a PHB by NHS Wandsworth CCG or its representatives.

It is estimated that around 20 PHB holders will be available to receive support planning in January 2017. This number is expected to rise significantly in line with NHS England's Mandate to increase the number of PHB holders over the next five years. This equates to a minimum of 760 PHBs for NHS Wandsworth CCG.

The expectation is that the providers that meet the initial Award Criteria and requirement of the Service Specifications for Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3 will be added to the approved list of providers and initially be allocated a contract on a rotation basis of first come first serve.

It is therefore imperative that approved providers who are added to this framework and have met the Award Criteria are ready to go live in January 2017.

If a provider cannot be ready by this date, the CCG will then move on to the next capable provider on the accreditation list until the first 20 PHB holders are cared for.

After the initial rotational allocation as specified above, all contracts will then be chosen by the PHB holder from the list of NHS Wandsworth CCG approved providers who have all passed and met the defined Award Criteria and requirements of the draft Service Specifications for Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3.

NHS Wandsworth CCG welcomes interested parties from all market sectors, including the Third Sector and the contracts will commence during January 2017.

Expressions of interest must be by way of completion and return of the attached Questionnaire by the date and time specified within.

A Draft Service Specification is available by contacting Lola Triumph (Lola.Triumph@wandsworthccg.nhs.uk) directly.
