Description
The Major Events Team in UK Sport requires research and evaluation services to be undertaken on the benefits of hosting a major event in the UK and Ireland. The evaluation should include a detailed assessment of the economic benefits as well as a full evaluation of other impact areas, such as tourism, business, physical, individual, social, community and media/broadcast. The project will require an established and experienced organisation, with a proven track record of undertaking research and evaluation in this field. Tenderers must be familiar with the principles and requirements of eventimpacts.com, the HM Treasury Green Book and the Public Spending Code.
UK Sport now invites tenders for the provision of the above services. Potential suppliers are required to register their interest by emailing karen.weir@uksport.gov.uk by Monday 8th April 2019. The email should include:
• Details of the lead contact person for the tenderer; and
• A signed two-way confidentiality agreement
Details of the applicable timeframes and process can be found within the ITT documentation. However, please note that only on receipt of the expression of interest and the two-way confidentiality agreement by the 8th April 2019 will the full specification be issued.
Full tenders must be submitted by Friday 26th April 2019.
