Description

We are looking for an educational psychology doctorate training provider in the East of England to train 10 NCTL funded educational psychology trainees, starting in September / October 2018 to provide a flow of newly qualified educational psychologists to the workforce in the region. The training provider must be in a position to begin recruitment to the course via a central recruitment system run by the Association of Educational Psychology in the autumn of 2017.
The National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL), an executive agency of the DfE, is therefore seeking a training provider to
• Deliver the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) accredited (or equivalent) doctorate level, initial training for educational psychologists in the East of England.

• The programme will run on a three year cycle, and will include, university based training with practice placements where trainees will work in an educational psychology service, alongside a senior educational psychologists on practice placement.

The estimated contract value is £503,889K inclusive of all expenses and VAT for one intake. This includes all elements of the programme including Year One Bursaries (£159,500).
