Description

This notice is placed as an Early Engagement Notice and relates to a pre-procurement provider engagement process.

NHS Berkshire West CCG, the Commissioner, invites attendance to a virtual event, and/or feedback electronically in regards to the future services of Advice, guidance and support service for families of children and young people aged 0-25 years with or without a diagnosis of Autism and /or ADHD in the Berkshire West area.

The service will support the local cultural shift in moving away from the need for a diagnosis to meeting the person's individual needs through appropriate support. The scope of this service is to provide a range of elements of support from the early signs through pre and post assessment of Autism and/or ADHD for children and young people age 0-25 as part of a stepped care approach with partners.

The service will provide a range of opportunities including a navigating/signposting role, support workshops for families/carers and contributing as required to the development and updating of any local autism resources.

This approach should enhance current provision and support with the purpose of improving the quality of life for children, young people, parents, carers and families with autism and/or ADHD within Berkshire West.

The Virtual Event will take place on the 9th July 2020, registration to attend must be made by 12 midday on the 8th July 2020. Written feedback should also be submitted no later than close of play on the 8th July 2020. To enable early feedback the Commissioner has published a draft service speciation alongside this notice (see attachments).

This notice is an information gathering exercise rather than a call for competition in its own right, and therefore publication or response does not commit Berkshire West Clinical Commissioning Group or respondents to a future procurement, nor provide any process exemptions or preferential treatment to any parties expressing an interest.
