Description

In July 2020 the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government in partnership with Public Health England (now Office of Health Improvement and Disparities) announced a £23m funding grant available to 40 identified rough sleeping task force areas across England. The funding was aimed specifically at providing drug and alcohol support for rough sleepers or those at risk of sleeping rough. As an identified task force area, Camden Council submitted a bid and was successful in securing funding of 2021/22. Funding was subsequently confirmed for 2022/23. Quotation processes have been undertaken previously for 12 month contracts and the current contract ends on 31st March 2023.
Camden Council has been awarded a final further 12 months of grant funding and is seeking if there is interest from suitably experienced providers in delivering this new contract for 12 months commencing in April 2023. The service will then end as funding from the Office of Health Improvement and Disparities beyond April 2024 is unlikely.
Suppliers are encouraged to read and submit responses to the attached Request for Information to Jaison Gomba (jaison.gomba@camden.gov.uk) by midday on Friday 3rd February 2023.
