The Trust wishes to amend the OJEU Contract Notice to clarify the following issues surrounding contract duration, variants and contract renewal. First, the Trust intends to award a 'base' fifteen-year contract and to allow for optional contract extension provisions up to a maximum of a further ten years. Second, the Trust reserves the right to invite, and accept, variant bids. The Trust will set out the basis on which it would do so in the ISIT documentation.
