Description
The Financial Reporting Council (FRC) welcomes proposals for a UK Endorsement Board Research project. The objective of the project is to assist the staff of the UK Endorsement Board in their ex ante impact analysis of IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts (IFRS 17) by providing economic expertise in specified areas. This will serve as an input to the assessment of whether the use of IFRS 17 is likely to have an adverse impact on the economy of the UK, including on economic growth.
The project is expected to take place between May 2020 and October 2020.
