Brief Description of Requirement

UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS) on behalf of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for the appointment of three Contractors to undertake minor works up to the value of £500,000.00 (exc. VAT) at the Daresbury Laboratory, Warrington.

The works vary in scope and value, from minor small works i.e. decoration, flooring, to extensions, laboratory fit outs and office fit out projects. Any successful Contractor will be expected to have the capability to deliver mechanical, electrical (including high voltage) and civil engineering projects. Examples of this would include a full building heating system replacement, installation of new transformers or switchgear and any projects from the replacement of old concrete floor to the construction of bunds, walls and up to small buildings.

The Framework Agreement contract is NEC4 Term Service Contract, Option A and it is the intention that projects will be issued on a Task Order basis.

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria set out in the ITQ document.
