Description

The City invites Tenders for the provision of a suitably qualified and experienced energy broker who shall be able to purchase electricity and gas and be able to provide other energy management services for the City's Corporate, Investment Property and Housing portfolios, including:
- Invoice validation and query management;
- Portfolio management;
- Supplier Management;
- Tariff Structure and Billing Requirements.
The total energy procured by the City is approx. 153 000 mwhs per annum, covering a wide portfolio of sites including prestigious public spaces such as the Barbican Centre, public libraries and Tower Bridge. This is in addition to offices and schools covering about 250 000 m2 of space and about 90 locations in the Square Mile, Epping Forest, Hampstead Heath, West Wickham and Coulsdon Common. The portfolio also covers leasehold properties.

The Authority has identified that the scope of this procurement falls within a business sector which maybe attractive to infiltration by organised crime groups. The Authority therefore reserves the right to include enhanced probity checks / requirements at both the selection and award stages of the procurement.
