Brief Description of Requirement

STFC RAL are looking to procure Maintenance and Breakdown Cover for UPS units and 2 Diesel Generators. This contract is to provide maintenance and breakdown cover for the UPS units and 2 diesel generators listed below, this includes units housed in two separate buildings on the one site. (Target Station 1 and 2). For this requirement we require bidders to have a intricate knowledge of UPS systems and Diesel Generators, and to be able to adhere to the following -

1.1. A minimum of two planned maintenance site visits per twelve month period, completed during normal daytime working hours by prior arrangement with STFC.
1.2. Agreement shall be comprehensive of all parts, labour and travel costs with the exception of replacement batteries and capacitors.
1.3. The proposed minimum duration of this contract is for 1 year.
1.4. Additional or replacement units may be added to this contract after their initial 12 month warranty agreement has expired.
1.5. 24 hour comprehensive breakdown cover is required 7 days a week for 365 days a year.
1.6. Breakdown call-out response time to customer site shall not to exceed 4 hours from receipt of call.
