REQUEST FOR QUOTATION

Overview: SSO Logistics Ltd are a UK based haulage company dealing with road transportation and warehousing.

Requirements: SSO Logistics Ltd require a Process Improvement Consultant, with experience in the logistics industry to assist with improving the operational management of the business to help manage the increasing sales volume that the company is experiencing

The following requirements will ensure this can be delivered

1. Review of current warehousing practices and recommendations for improvement

2. Review of current traffic office processes and recommendations for improvement

3. Delivery of an action plan to ensure recommendations for both warehousing and traffic office are affordable and deliverable

4. 12 months of continued support to ensure a management process is adopted and consistently applied that will ensure the Action Plan is delivered on time and on budget, including the resolution of problems where things are not progressing as required.

Deliverable timescale: Project to Commence June 2017 and completed in 12 months

Estimated budget: The work will be part funded through European Regional Development Fund. We estimate that the project falls within the £2500 - £24999 bracket and therefore, under current Public Procurement Regulations, there is no formal tender procedure but a detailed written quotation is required.

Evaluation criteria:
• Cost (40%)
• Demonstrate skills and understanding of the industry sector (20%)
• Understanding the brief / clarity of quotation (20%)
• Delivery timescales (10%)
• Ease of communication (10%)

Scoring Methodology:

4 = Excellent Proposal meets and in some places exceeds the requirement standard
3 = Good Proposal meets required standards
2 = Acceptable Proposal meets the required standard in most respects, but not all.
1 = Poor Proposal falls short of expected standard
