Prior Information Notice (PIN)

Slough Borough Council wishes to engage with the market to gauge the interest in the delivery of Supported Employment Service(s) for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Sensory Impairment and Physical Disabilities. The aim of the service(s) will be to help people with disabilities access and sustain paid employment.

The aim of the day is to:
• meet with potential providers
• outline the needs of the Borough and the outcomes that service users and Carers say they wish to achieve,
• give prospective providers an opportunity to influence the service specification
• give providers an opportunity to comment on the opportunities and risks of the potential service models the Council are considering as the method of delivery for this service.

The event will be held on Wednesday 5th July 2017, 1.00pm to 3.30pm.

This PIN notice does not represent a formal commitment by the Council to undertake a procurement procedure.

However, please note that following this market engagement event, Slough Borough Council may wish to go out to the market for supported employment service(s) through its Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS). Only providers who have registered with Slough's DPS and whose registration has been approved will be given the opportunity to compete for business opportunities from the Council. Please see the information below.

Slough Borough Council has moved to a DPS to procure Adult Social Care Services. The DPS has been published on the SE Shared e-sourcing portal that we use to advertise and carry out tender processes.
