Description

Description NHS West London Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is considering the future commissioning options for the delivery of a consultant led multi-disciplinary community-based Musculoskeletal (MSK) service.

The service will provide specialist multi-disciplinary MSK care that will triage, assess, diagnose, advise, treat and manage the registered population of the CCG.

The service specialties that are to be included are:
• MSK physiotherapy services;
• Outpatient orthopaedic services;
• Outpatient rheumatology services; and
• Chronic MSK pain management services.

To help inform this commissioning decision, interested parties are invited to express their interest and attend a market engagement meeting with the CCG.

A Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire, as well as draft versions of the Memorandum of Information (MOI) and Service Specification in relation to the services in scope can be found attached to this advert.

**Market engagement meetings will be scheduled between Monday 1st and Friday 12th February 2016. To express an interest and arrange a time to meet with the CCG, please complete the attached RFI and return via email to Sau-Fun Wong directly on: Sau-Fun.Wong@nw.london.nhs.uk no later than Friday 5th February 2016 referencing "MSK Market Engagement" in the title.**

Should the CCG proceed to procurement, the intention is to publish a Contract Notice during late February 2015. The contract value would be circa £8,000,000 for an initial contract term of up to 3 years and 6 months with an option to extend the contract for a further 2 years at the CCG's discretion. The new service would commence 1st October 2016.

The submission of an expression of interest is not a prerequisite to any subsequent procurement application.
