Description
PLEASE NOTE THAT A REVISED VERSION OF THE ITT HAS BEEN UPLOADED TO THIS NOTICE, IF YOU WISH TO TAKE PART IN THIS TENDER OPPORTUNITY PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE FILE TITLED 20201113-701027396_ITT IS USED.
The Authority has a one off requirement for the supply and delivery of 16 portable TIG welding machines to HMS SULTAN. The TIG welding machines must be pre-mounted to a trolley. Commissioning will be undertaken by Defence School of Marine Engineering personnel and this is not to affect the manufacturer's warranty. Further information, including specification, can be found in the procurement documentation.
If you would like to participate in tendering for the subject opportunity please go to Defence Contracts Online (DCO) www.contracts.mod.uk and ensure you comply with the following instructions:
1. Complete and submit an electronic SAQ on the DCO (www.contracts.mod.uk) before the published close date.
2. As a result of the Covid 19 Pandemic hard copy tenders can no longer be accepted. Supplier's interested in participating should contact Karen Wiley using the email address karen.wiley895@mod.gov.uk and provide contact details of an individual within their company who will be responsible for uploading their tender to AWARD as well as their Company details. Logon details will then be provided to the named individual. To avoid missing the close date you are encouraged to begin this process as early as possible noting that all requests for an Award Logon must be made by no later than 2020.
3. Complete and upload a copy of the Invitation to Tender documents and any other requested information that supports your submission as per the DEFFORM 47 to AWARD by the close date. For this purpose a blank copy of the ITT has uploaded for you to complete.
This is a one-step Supplier Assessment/Tender process, failure to submit an ITT by the close date even if you complete an on-line SAQ may render your interest non-compliant.
If you fail to meet the minimum standards listed in the SAQ or do not complete an SAQ you will be discounted from the process and your tender response will not be reviewed.
Tender responses will be evaluated in accordance with the process as detailed in the ITT.
Potential suppliers must note the mandatory requirement for electronic trading using the Contracting, Purchasing
and Finance (CP&F) electronic procurement tool. All payments for Contractor Deliverables under the Contract shall
be made via CP&F. You can find details on CP&F at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/modcontracting-purchasing-and-finance-e-procurement-system."
