Description
The Leeds Trinity University Estate presents well as a semi-rural "self-contained" green campus that feels safe and welcoming to students, staff and visitors. The Estate is 7 hectares with a gross internal floor area of less than 50,000m2, consisting of a mixture of old and new assets with commissioning ranging from the mid-1960s through to 2017. This covers teaching, learning and support services.
Our Estates Service is currently supported by disparate processes totally reliant on MS office applications, manual and electronic filing operational processes, and at worst, retained personal information and knowledge. As such, we want to introduce a Computer Aided Facility Management system (CAFM) to improve efficiency and support the delivery of our Estates Strategy. Some of the objectives in relation to this project include:
- Provide a robust platform to develop and manage a PPMP (Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme)
- Support and manage a Whole Life Cycle Costing exercise.
- Provide an industry standard management tool for statutory compliance and post testing and inspection
- Automate data collection
