Brief Description of Requirement

STFC have a requirement for a flexible wirebonder system capable of automated wire bonding of fine wires. Facilities for operator inspection of bonds to be incorporated. Capability to import program data from other bonders, specifically Hesse BJ820 programmes required. Other compatible solutions are accepted if they can ensure they are equivalent to existing set up. Support for local and network backup of user programme and machine parameters within a predominantly MS Windows environment required. To benefit from existing staff training, the user interface should be built within MS Windows 10 and provide a comfortable ergonomic workstation for operators who will be seated at the bonder for multiple hours per day.

The minimum expected warranty will be 12 months from the delivery of the equipment.
Delivered to STFC, Harwell Campus, Didcot by 19th March 2021.
